The maximum total loss is the absolute amount of losses permitted, calculated based on your initial account balance.
For our PU Xtrader Challenge, it would be as follows:
Basic account: 10% limit (Starting balance of $100,000 would means that the lowest equity your account can reach is $90,000).
Plus accounts: 20% limit (Starting balance of $100,000 would means that the lowest equity your account can reach is $80,000).
Please note that this calculation considers the following:
- Closed and open positions
- Spreads and commissions
- Swaps
